Interceptor S50
Every inch of your store counts. Interceptor S50, your Physical Security and CCTV (Close Captioned TV) DVR (Digital Video Recorder), was designed to minimize the space it occupies (Small Form Factor Security DVR), without compromising power or reliability. The smallest unit of the Interceptor family is designed to fit in a Switch Rack. This is a Stealth DVR; its appearance similar to any home electronic device and go unnoticed. Its dimensions also are similar to a cash drawer, it can be installed or horizontally behind the counter of a convenience store, under an electronic appliance, on a shelf behind the cashier.
Considering it’s black brushed aluminum finish, the entire housing is a heat dissipation tool and the CPU is surmounted by a wide low profile Heatsink & fan. The Motherboard, with integrated video circuit, comes from the PC Gamers world. It provides the necessary power to support intelligence and analytic applications. Its O/S is installed on a mSATA drive with a transfer rate of 600 Mb/s to maximise performances and uptime and can handle 1 video drive.
Interceptor S50 is designed to manage 8 to 30 security cameras environments, either analog, numeric (IP) or hybrid (in a combination of both camera types). Interceptor S50 is modular and scalable, which means you can add units in time for better CCTV/Security Camera coverage or to simply follow your growth in a Pay-As-You-Grow model.
Interceptor S50 can be used as a gateway to your NVR (Network Video Recorder), such as ISS, Milestone
or Genetec and to your CCTV storage infrastructure (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NVR OR JBOD). Interceptor S50 is equipped with a DVD burner, Card
